AMI Alliance was founded in April 2003 and the current membership consists of 8 mobile operators; Celcom in Malaysia, dtac in Thailand, Excelcomindo in Indonesia, IDEA Cellular in India, M1 in Singapore, SmarTone in Hong Kong, SmarTone in Macau and Sun Cellular in Philippines.

The alliance focuses on giving the members’ customers an assured and seamless roaming experience. We do this by having a platform for members to foster preferential relationships with each other, generate new revenue streams through constant member.
